GLOW Blend (BPC-157 + TB-500 + GHK-Cu)

GLOW is a multi-peptide research blend combining BPC-157, TB-500, and GHK-Cu in a single lyophilized preparation. The blend is studied for combined effects on tissue repair and skin-related research questions. GHK-Cu is a copper peptide examined for its role in skin remodeling and cellular signaling, while BPC-157 and TB-500 are researched for recovery-related mechanisms in laboratory models.

Research Context

GLOW combines three peptides that each appear in the preclinical tissue-repair literature: BPC-157, a stable pentadecapeptide derived from a protein found in human gastric juice; TB-500, a synthetic fragment corresponding to the actin-binding region of thymosin beta-4, a 43-amino-acid peptide present in most mammalian cells; and GHK-Cu, a naturally occurring copper-binding tripeptide first isolated from human plasma. Each component has its own distinct research history, and the blend format reflects a research interest in studying these compounds alongside one another rather than a single characterized molecular entity.

The evidence base for the individual components is almost entirely preclinical. BPC-157 has been examined extensively in rodent models of tendon, ligament, muscle, and gastrointestinal injury, with proposed mechanisms involving growth factor expression, angiogenesis, and nitric oxide system modulation; no completed human clinical trials of BPC-157 have been published. Thymosin beta-4, the parent peptide of TB-500, has been studied in vitro for its role in actin sequestration and cell migration, and in animal wound-healing models; the parent peptide has also seen limited early-phase human investigation in wound and ophthalmic settings, distinct from TB-500 itself. GHK-Cu has been characterized largely in vitro, where fibroblast and gene-expression studies report effects on collagen synthesis and matrix remodeling pathways, alongside animal skin models and small human topical studies of cosmetic formulations.

Notably, no published studies have examined this specific three-peptide combination as a blended preparation. Whether the components interact additively, synergistically, or competitively in shared model systems remains an open question, as do the pharmacokinetics and stability of the combined formulation. Researchers working with this blend are generally drawing on the single-compound literature summarized in our BPC-157 and TB-500 research overview and the GHK-Cu literature, and translating findings across models requires caution given differences in species, delivery route, and study design.
