Bacteriostatic Water is a sterile diluent containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a bacteriostatic agent, which inhibits bacterial growth after the vial is first accessed. Supplied in a 30ml multi-dose vial for laboratory research applications. The benzyl alcohol preservative allows repeated withdrawals from the same vial under aseptic laboratory technique.
